• Pet Mobility Environmental Awareness
Goldair Handling on World Animals Day in October

4 2022 announced its partnership with “Pet
Mobility” in donating wheelchairs not in use for
the production of pet wheelchairs. Within 2022 the
Company donated nine wheelchairs that were all
used for animal mobility aids development.
• Win Cancer-Love Visitation
Goldair Handling employees prepared and delivered
to “WinCancer” greeting cards that were distributed
to all anticancer hospitals in Greece.
• Christmas support of NGOs
In Christmas 2021, Goldair Handling, instead of
buying business gifts, made a donation to Eliza,
a non-profit organization aiming at protecting
children who have suffered or are at risk of abuse
or neglect, while for 2022 the donation has been
made for the NGO “Make a Wish”.
Community Volunteering
• Blood Donation
Goldair Handling and its employees are making a
significant impact on society, demonstrating their
commitment to social responsibility. As part of its
commitment to social welfare, Goldair Handing
hosted five blood donations, during 2021 and 2022.
As a result, 75 units of blood were collected within the
reference years.
•School Paintings
In 2021, Goldair Handling employees in
Kavala Station, contributed to the painting and
embellishment of a school in Kavala, while during
2022, they painted the auditorium of Kefalonia’s
Special Education School, for creating a fun
educational environment for young students.

Goldair Handling has created the 'Goldair Handling
Green Team', which is active in recycling programs
and initiatives to clean beaches and other areas in
nature. The Company strives to implement as many
environmental actions as possible in order to support
local communities near the airports where Goldair
Handling has presence.
• Coastal Cleanups
The Company is committed to increasing
environmental awareness among its employees and
local communities. Beach clean-ups consist of one of
the most important actions to protecting marine life and
every year several actions are organized. During 2021
and 2022 the following have been organized:
˃ Coastal cleaning in Rhodes Island for two
consecutive years
˃ Cleaning in the lagoon and the port of Argostoli,
Kefalonia
˃ Coastal cleaning in Gradakia, Kefalonia
˃ Coastal cleaning in Chios
˃ Coastal cleaning in Skyros
˃ Coastal cleaning of two beaches in Kalamata
˃ Coastal cleaning in Apalos, Alexandroupolis
˃ Coastal cleaning in Kalamaki, Zakynthos
˃ Coastal cleaning in Samos
˃ Coastal cleaning in Kalogria, Achaia
• Additional Environmental Actions
Further to voluntary coastal cleanups, during 2021 and
2022 Goldair Handling proceeded with the following
actions enforcing the environmental initiative:
˃ Cleaning of the archaeological site and bicycle path
in the area of Kordia in Kalamata and Frontzou Park
in Ioannina.
˃ Cooperation with Diamondo Earth rounding for
Kavala and Heraklion Airports.
˃ Celebration of June as Month dedicated to
Environment.
˃ Collection of eyeglasses in a special bin at Rhodes
station, to be donated and reused by other people
from developing countries.
˃ Planting 15 pieces of lantanas and 5 pieces
of lavender, for further enhancing the airport’s
landscape and contributing to the environmental
sustainability of the area at Kefalonia Station.
