LAS-Goldair, a joint venture between LAS Ground Force and Goldair Handling, has already started offering ground handling services in India. The concession agreement was signed between the joint venture company and the Airports Authority of India (AAI) in December 2021. The agreement has a term period of ten years, during which LAS-Goldair will be responsible for providing ground handling services to airlines and chartered operators at the Bagdogra International Airport.
Ms. Humin Daver, Director of LAS-Goldair Handling, mentioned that: "The most important reason for setting up a joint venture with Goldair Handling was to establish European standards of ground handling services at airports in India."
